As a small independent business we aim to provide the best service a small business possibly can.
Please note we are a small team of 3 people and this is why delivery and processing times can sometimes be longer than other bigger businesses.
Processing/Delivery times are as follows:
- Orders can take up to 10 working days* to process before being shipped.
We are experiencing an increase in order volumes as precautionary self-isolation becomes more widespread and localalised lockdowns are put into action.
We have extended our processing times in order to keep up with demand.
Every effort is being made to ensure that dispatch is within a maximum of 10 working days for all orders however this is subject to change.
All goods are subject to availability.
95% of orders are posted 2nd Class Royal Mail post.
Royal Mail have announced that delivery times for second class post have now been increased to up to 10 days.
Please allow 15 working days for delivery before contacting us to chase your order.
Our hours of operation for shipping are Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
*NOTE: during restocks, new releases & special promotions, there can be an additional day of processing time.
Transit times will vary based upon a few different conditions, including but not limited to:
- Whether your parcel is a domestic (UK) or international (everywhere else) shipment
ESTIMATED transit times are as follows. Please note that this time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee.
Standard Shipping (Royal Mail 2nd Class): 5-7 Business Days (However, please allow 10 working days for delivery (this is a time limit imposed by Royal Mail, not ourselves).
INTERNATIONAL (Does NOT account for time spent at customs, border inspection facilities, etc):
Standard Post (Royal Mail International): 15-20 Business Days

Shipping Rates are as follows:
Standard Delivery to UK and Northern Ireland: £2.50
Free Standard Delivery on orders over £25 to the UK and Northern Ireland.
Delivery and charges – UK
Orders under £25 – flat rate £2.95 per order.
All orders over £25 get free delivery to the UK Mainland.
Orders will be sent via Royal Mail.
Channel Islands orders are charged as Europe.

Out of stock or discontinued items
Whilst we hold considerable stocks it may be on occasion that your chosen item is out of stock. If a particular item is out of stock at the time of ordering we make every effort to advise you upon receipt your order.
Occasionally some items are discontinued without prior notification by the manufacturer. In the unlikely event of this occurring RKM Wools Direct will advise you of the situation and react according to your instruction.
RKM Wools Direct accepts no liability for damage of goods or property caused by our selected delivery method.
If you are unhappy with your goods, you can return these in a saleable condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund.
You will be responsible for the cost of the return postage. RKM Wools does not accept responsibility for returned items going missing.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us, RKM Wools, of your decision to cancel this contract by emailing email@example.com with the subject line: ONLINE SHOP RETURN
You may use our cancellation form (MS Word document), but you don’t have to.
To meet the cancellation deadline, you only need to email us as above before the cancellation period expires.
This does not apply in the case of faulty goods
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract before the dispatch of your goods, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of any unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
If there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Books and patterns are non-returnable due to copyright law.
Needles are also non returnable unless faulty.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
If your order is unable to be delivered by our chosen delivery method, they will advise of this by leaving a card through your door. In the unlikely event that the order is returned to ourselves, there will be additional delivery charges incurred for this to be re-sent, we will advise of these charges if the circumstance arises.
